BEFORE DEPARTURE, IDCI WILL:

  • Send you a host profile with information on the host family selected for you
  • Send you documents about Canadian culture and the keys to successful experience in residence

ON ARRIVAL AND DURING THE PERIOD OF THE RESIDENCE, IDCI ASSOCIATE WILL

  • Provide a formal orientation to prepare you for residence
  • Ensure that you are supported as you learn to take public transit, access a health clinic, open a bank account, and so on
  • Talk to you during first month to see how you are adjusting to school and residence
  • Help you communicate effectively with your residence host and resolve difficulties, as required

IDCI services are completely free of charge. However, if the person needs assistance of Immigration consultant or Lawyer, who are associated partners of IDCI, the student can avail their services with their associated fee.

Because of higher tuition fee for international students IDCI decided not to charge processing fee. IDCI get referral fee from the college when you get enrolled and started class in Canada

In terms of admission requirements, private colleges do not require academic IELTS to get admitted. While community college require academic IELTS with minimum band average of 6.5. Community colleges offer Post Graduate work Permit PGWP while not all private colleges does not offer PGWP.

IDCI will not handle tuition payment. Applicant need to pay directly to the school.

A post-graduation work permit (PGWP) gives you permission to remain in Canada and work full time for up to three years after you graduate from a Canadian post-secondary institution. The length of the work permit depends on the length of your program.

  • Yes. Furthermore, an applicant may submit an application for a study permit for his or her accompanying minor children. This can be done when the applicants submit his or her own study permit application. Letter of acceptance from a Canadian DLI will not be required for accompanying minor children who intend to study in Canada.

Yes, you can apply either for study permit where you work outside your home country online or on paper.

It may be possible for your family members to come live with you in Canada during the duration of your studies. According to CIC, “family” includes spouses, common-law/conjugal partners, and dependent children. Your spouse/partner can apply for a work permit before or after they arrive in Canada. The work permit will usually be issued for the same length of time as your study permit. Your spouse/partner does not need a job offer to apply for a work permit. Your minor children can go to Primary and secondary school FREE of charge.

WHAT KIND OF HEALTH INSURANCE DO INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS GET?

As an international student, you are not eligible for the Health Insurance Plan in Canada. At IDCI we offer a special health plan for you.
